Chief Joseph School is a neighborhood school located in the Arbor Lodge community. The school community is supportive and stable. A structured academic program has helped increase student achievement in all areas. Students receive instruction in a language - arts block for at least two hours a day, an hour of which is provide in small groups. Students also have more than one hour of math instruction, and 45 minutes of daily writing instruction. Chief Joseph is a Title 1 school that uses the additional Title 1 resources to support the literacy blocks.
