Oregon School of Massage, founded in 1984 and licensed by the Oregon Department of Education, is a private professional school devoted to massage and related health education. The School has a commitment to holistic education and the training is designed to integrate body, mind, heart and spirit. Central to our philosophy is the idea that touch is a powerful form of communication that carries complex messages for both the giver and the receiver. As practitioners, we need to be mindful of what we communicate through our touch. With this in mind, we have developed an emphasis on the integration of psycho spiritual dimensions of healing with the study of the human body.
