Evie Graham created Vega Dance+Lab back in the Fall of 2004, after several years of searching for a dance studio in Portland that fit her needs. Beginning with only three instructors, we opened for business, And well, the three of us spent many nights here at Vega in the old days, wondering if people were going to show up for class! Let's just say that very very long scarves were knitted back then. Slowly but surely, they DID start showing up. And now we are growing up and have so much to offer. More classes, more instructors, and a diverse range of dance for all levels. This is my home away from home, and I pride myself on the fact that you will find kindness (and badass dancing) within these doors. Not only are my instructors wonderful and easy to get along with, but so are our students.
