Founded in 1996, Alpine Courier, Inc. began as a modest two-person organization moving freight between Portland, OR and San Jose, CA. The two owners, Darrell Rowland and Todd Spencer, financed the company with personal savings and credit card debt, and worked non-stop to get the company off the ground. Darrell had the operational know-how, with over twenty years experience in the courier and freight industry, while Todd had the entrepreneurial spirit and will to satisfy the needs of his customers. The company has grown from these humble beginnings into a company with employees in several West Coast cities and a nationwide network of drivers and subcontractors who service a nationwide client base. Alpine Courier has built solid relationships with its employees and vendors to ensure that the needs of the customer can be serviced all across the United States.
