Contractors Bonding and Insurance Company (CBIC) is a privately held, Seattle-based insurance company specializing in surety bonds and niche property and casualty insurance products. Surety underwriting emphasis is on contract, license, permit, miscellaneous and court bonds. The contract bond program focuses on standard underwriting for medium size contractors along with streamlined programs for small accounts and infrequent users of surety credit. Property and Casualty underwriting emphasis is on general liability, property, and inland marine coverages for artisan contractors but we also write program, wholesale, and generalist business including a wide variety of merchant and office classes.
