Pine Crest Fabrics opened their doors in 1978, specializing in knit fabrics. As a textile distributor, in the early years the company served primarily small fabric stores, always focusing on spandex blended fabrics as the "major product group." Purchasing excess stretch fabric overruns, the company concentrated on building Promotional inventories purchased from major U.S. sportswear manufacturers and reselling to apparel manufacturers. Over time, Pine Crest has become a major buyer and seller of excess inventories, and today continues as such with its Promotional Fabrics.
